An Executive Dinner by GEN - The Global Executive Network is an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with experts and peers and discuss the latest and most important trends for a specific industry-related or management-focused topic.
This Executive Dinner is created to discuss, ‘Future of mobility’- it’s upon us. Are you ready or waiting for this to happen? As Leon C. Megginson once said, ‘It is not the strongest or the most intelligent who will survive but those who can best manage change.’ The discussion is set to happen in a high-level peer-to-peer environment. This exclusive event is limited to a number of 18–22 executive guests from leading automobile industry and participation is always free of charge.
Mobility as a Service is fast becoming a reality. Automotive OEM’s and others in the automotive supply chain are making their moves…but will they be ready by 2025?
With the growth in connected cars, autonomous driving, sharing services, ride-hailing, and electric vehicles, the automotive industry is moving towards a services-led automotive ecosystem commonly known as mobility-as-a-service. This has dramatically increased the demand for a fast and flexible mobility service platform that's capable of rapidly processing the vast quantity of data that mobility innovation generates, as well as streamlining applications' access to that data and those vehicles. And companies have already started taking the right steps, refer this new partnership between Fujitsu and Autonomic. The partnership will accelerate mobility-as-a-service adoption - http://bit.ly/2JYq64Y.
Many auto companies will find it difficult to make the cultural shift, as they will be preparing for a converged marketplace that doesn’t yet exist. But it is critical to act. If you don’t develop a strategy with some elements of service, you risk being left behind. Even if you don’t have a complete strategy in place by 2025, you need to be ready. In 2030, the mobility landscape might include not the traditional ‘Big Three’ automakers, but an assortment of major MaaS (Mobility as a Service) players, autonomous vehicle giants, CaaS (Components as a Service) players and others. You need to start thinking about where your business will fit into such a landscape. If you don’t, you might soon be at the end of the road.
